# Add or import data

### Adding Data to Datamask

Datamask allows you to add new data securely and effortlessly. Whether it's storing new login credentials, adding identity documents, or creating secure notes, the process is straightforward:

1. **Select Data Type:** Begin by choosing the type of data you want to add. Datamask supports various data types, including Access (login credentials), Identity, Payments, and more.
2. **Enter Details:** After selecting the data type, enter the relevant details. For instance, if you're adding a new login credential, you’ll input the website, username, and password. Datamask provides a strong password generator to enhance security.
3. **Save Securely:** Once the details are entered, simply save the information. Your data is encrypted and securely stored in your Data Wallet, accessible only by you.

### Importing Data from Browsers and Apps

If you’ve stored data like passwords or payment information in browsers or other apps, Datamask makes it easy to import that data into your secure Data Wallet:

1. **Choose the Import Option:** In the Datamask interface, select the option to import data.
2. **Select Source:** Choose the browser or app from which you want to import data. Datamask supports popular platforms like Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Brave, Edge, and others.
3. **Import Specific Data:** You can choose exactly what to import, such as login credentials, notes, or payment information from supported sources like Amazon, Facebook, Google, and more.
4. **Review and Save:** After selecting the data, review the details, and then import them securely into Datamask. Your imported data is encrypted and stored securely, just like any other data added directly to Datamask.

### **Supported Browsers and Password Managers:**

You can import access credentials, notes, identities, and payment information directly from popular browsers and password managers, including:

* **Chrome**
* **Safari**
* **Firefox**
* **Brave**
* **Edge**
* **NordPass**
* **Dashlane**

### **Import Data from Other Platforms:**

Beyond browsers, Datamask supports importing data from other major platforms, allowing you to bring in your information from:

* **Amazon**
* **Spotify**
* **Facebook**
* **Google**
* **Instagram**
* **LinkedIn**
* **Netflix**
* **Reddit**
* **TikTok**

This functionality ensures that all your critical information, whether login credentials, notes, or identity documents, is securely stored in one place—your Datamask Data Wallet.

### **Example of Adding New Data:**
